{Blogtember} - Where I came From

You may remember in may I participated in Blog Every Day in May. Well, Jenni from Story of My Life has done it again, and challenged us to blogging everyday in September "Blogtember" but with weekends off this time.

I grew up with these lovely people.  We have so many great memories together and I am truly blessed! I am the youngest, with 2 older brothers (the girl on the far left side is my sister-in-law Shannon). I have two awesome parents that have been so supportive of me no matter what I have done. They have always encouraged me to pursue my dreams (even when that meant moving to Haiti) and have always been there for me. While in Haiti, I wrote this post about my family. They taught me to work hard and always told me I was special. Most importantly, they shared their faith with me and showed me the importance of a personal relationship with Christ.

I grew up in a little town of 700 people, in Minnesota. My dad farms. I love small town living. It is simple. You know everyone, it's almost like you are all family. Claudy and I recently moved back to the small town and it's almost like I never left, those relationships have just picked up right were they left off 12 years ago (for the most part). I enjoyed the commodore of a small town and the opportunity to participate in whatever activities I desired.

Now, I'm married... and this is our family (minus one little baby, Cash). I am blessed. I know not all families get along, which is why I know I am so blessed to have these people not only as my family, but as my friends.

Love this and your blog name! Found you via Blogtember :) Some of my husbands family lives in Minnesota and I love hearing stories about winters and farms...nothing like it!

I could have never done those winters. My Mom was born in the South but raised up North in Wisconsin. She always joked that cold to her was Minnesota.
